Let me be honest: I think candy corn is one of the worst Halloween “treats” out there, right up there with Peeps at Easter. Flavorless, waxy and awful. But, I have to admit that there is some cuteness to them, what with their jolly stripes and their softly pointed tops. They are also pretty iconic, and I LOVE Halloween! So, I had a go at this Candy Corn Cap.

It is super quick to make, in case Halloween week turns out to be chilly. I will also be donating a few of these to my knitting group at Magee Women’s Hospital for chemo caps, so I sized that pattern for adult small, which also fits my Kindergartener’s big frizzy head just fine! You could easily use a smaller hook to make a smaller child’s size. Enjoy!
